Macos Calibre


calibre works on macOS 10.14 (Mojave) and higher.

MAC OSX 10.15.7, Calibre 5.11, DRM 7.1, Kindle 1.30. All my stuff worked except for 5 books. They are all azw-zip files. Anyone know what how to get passed this because naturally my favorite book happens to be one of them. Thank yall so much! And those who complain that the latest version of Calibre (from 2019) does not work anymore with an older version of macOS (from 2017) have actually no real reason to complain as an older version of Calibre (3.48) that works perfectly fine with older macOS versions is still available for download on the developer's website. Macos Calibre

  1. The application cannot be run from within the dmg. You must drag it to a folder on your filesystem (The Desktop, Applications, wherever).
  2. In order to show calibre in a different language, open the preferences (by pressing ⌘+P) and select your language.
  3. If you are using macOS older than 10.14 (Mojave), the last version of calibre that will work on your machine is 3.48, available here.
  4. If you are using macOS 10.8 (Mountain Lion), the last version of calibre that will work on your machine is 2.85.1, available here.
